Welcome to our Google Workspace addon that uses DeepL for language translation (the “Addon”). By accessing or using the Addon, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Addon.

Use of the Addon

The Addon allows you to translate text from one language to another using DeepL. You may use the Addon for personal or commercial purposes, provided that you comply with these Terms.

User Content

The Addon may allow you to submit text for translation. You retain all rights to any text that you submit. By submitting text for translation, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute the text solely for the purpose of providing the translation service to you.

Intellectual Property

The Addon and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software, are the property of us or our licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use the Addon or its contents except as expressly authorized by these Terms.

THE ADDON IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE ADDON, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Addon or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate your access to the Addon at any time, with or without cause or notice.
